Day 1 Canada to London

This evening depart on your Air Canada flight to London . Overnight: En Route

Day 2 London / Johannesburg

Early arrival in London gives you some free time until your evening departure for South Africa . Overnight: En Route

Day 3 Johannesburg / George

Early arrival in Johannesburg gives you time to connect with your flight to George. Upon arrival in George, collect you hired vehicle ( Toyota Corolla or similar) . Take the N2 highway through the city of George and via the Wilderness Lakes area to Knysna where you spend the next two nights. The remainder of your day is at leisure. Day 4 Knysna

You have the day at leisure to visit a variety of interesting sights and places in the area. Consider the following:

The Featherbed Nature Reserve; Oyster tasting; Outeniqua Choe Tjoe. There is also the nearby town of Plettenberg Bay which offers Dolphin cruises. Overnight: Knysna Terrace (B)

Day 5 Knysna to Oudtshoorn

This morning, after breakfast, depart Knysna and make your way to Oudtshoorn. Follow the N2 Highway to George and follow the signs over the spectacular Outeniqua Mountains to the semi-desert Karoo region and the city of Oudtshoorn . During your stay consider the following: The Cango Caves; The Cango Wildlife Ranch; Safari Ostrich farm which serves scrumptious meals and where you can take a tour of the working Ostrich Farm. Day 6 Oudtshoorn to Montagu

After breakfast, travel inland to the town of Montague . Your routing takes you via the town of Calitzdorp where we suggest you make a stop and visit one of the many wines estates specializing in the production of Port. Continue your drive to the town of Montagu where you can visit the local mineral spring for a relaxing afternoon. Overnight: Montagu Country Hotel (B)(www.montagucountryhotel.co.za)

Day 7 Montague to Stellenbosch

After breakfast take Route 62 via Barrydale, Robertson and Paarl. Stop en route for wine tasting at some of the wine estates in the region. Your drive takes you over the Du Toits Kloof Pass to Paarl where you follow the signs to Stellenbosch situated in the heart of the Wineland Region. The town is also well known for its Cape Dutch and Victorian Architecture. Overnight: D’Ouwe Werf (B) (www.ouwewerf.com)

Day 8 Stellenbosch to Cape Town

Today you have time to explore the towns of Stellenbsoch and Franschhoek. Franschoek is home to the Huegonot Monument as well as interesting stores, restaurants and wine estates. Follow the signs to the N1 highway to Cape Town and make your way to your bed and breakfast lodging situated in the “Gardens.” Overnight: Dunkley House (B) (www.dunkleyhouse.com)

Days 9 & 10 Cape Town

Two days in which to explore this beautiful city. Consider the following options: Cape Point, Table Mountain , Hout Bay ; Victoria and Alfred Waterfront; Simonstown and the Jackass Penguin colony. Overnight: Dunkley House(B)

Day 11 Cape Town / Hoedspruit - Safari

Drop of your car at the Cape Town Airport where you board your flight to Johannesburg and your connection to Hoedspruit Airport . On arrival you are met and transferred to the luxury Buffalo Tented Camp at Kapama where you spend the next two nights on safari. You have some free time until your afternoon game drive in open 4 x 4 vehicles. The afternoon game drives continue into the evening when game viewing is done by spotlight to view the nocturnal animals. Return to the lodge for dinner. Day 12 Safari

Morning and afternoon game drives are the order of the day. During your game drives you may get to see a variety on animals such as lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and a variety of antelope and bird species. Overnight: Buffalo Tented Camp (B,L,D)

Day 13 Departure from South Africa to London

Your final early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Later you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg and connection to London . Overnight: En Route (B)

Day 14 London to Canada

Early arrival in London gives you time to connect with your flight to Canada .
