Shuzenji: Asaba Ryokan - Relais & Chateaux

Tentative day to day itinerary:

  • Book your flight to Tokyo, at either Haneda or Narita, to arrive January 22, 2026. Private transfer will be provided on your arrival.

  • Accommodations at the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo for 1 night.

    Activities to be organized based on arrivals, but mostly it will be a relaxed day.

    Welcome dinner hosted by Bulgari Hotel Tokyo.

  • After breakfast, meet at the lobby for a full day city tour of Tokyo.

    Lunch will be hosted by one of our hotel partners followed by a brief site inspection.

    At the end of the day, check-in at the Peninsula Hotel Tokyo.

  • After breakfast, enjoy a half day tour to experience some of the most popular activities in Tokyo as well as Travel Studio’s optional modifications, to be defined shortly.

    The afternoon will include a hotel-driven exprience, to be determined shortly.

    Dinner hosted by The Peninsula Hotel Tokyo.

  • After breakfast, we will depart to Hakone with a private tour of Hakone and Mt. Fuji area.

    This morning, your luggage will be sent directly to Kyoto. You must travel with a carry-on for 1 night in Shuzenji.

    At the end of the tour, arrive in Shuzenji and check-in at Asaba Ryokan. We will walk from our Ryokan to see the temple, their bamboo forest, and its beautiful river.

    Return to Asaba for an amazing ryokan and dinner experience.

  • After breakfast, we will depart to the train station and take our First Class Bullet Train to Kyoto. Upon arrival, we will be transferred to the beautiful Six Senses Kyoto.

    Afternoon at leisure to explore the area.

    Welcome dinner hosted by Six Senses Kyoto.

  • After breakfast, we will meet our guide for a full day tour of Kyoto.

    Lunch will be hosted by one of our partner hotels in Kyoto, followed by a brief site inspection.

    Return to our hotel.

    We will try local food for dinner.

  • After breakfast, we will have our private transfer to Osaka.

    We will try ramen at a local spot for lunch.

    Accommodations at the brand new Waldorf Astoria Osaka.

    Welcome dinner hosted by Waldorf Astoria.

  • After breakfast, our private guide will take us for a half day private tour of Osaka.

    Hotel-driven experience in the afternoon, to be determined shortly.

    Tonight, we will explore one of the busiest food streets in Osaka, and enjoy a farewell dinner.

  • After breakfast, private departures to Kansai or Itami for your flight home.
